No time like the present....

Well I was waiting for my blog to be "more" set up before I posted anything.  But why not just get something up here I say.  So I have put up a card that I made today as a request from one of my friends from work.  Her friend Therese is turning 50, so she wanted something that was just for her - well no one else can have a card with her name on it can they?

So here it is.  All products are SU, except the butterfly nearest to the name, which is a Hero Arts stamp my hubby bought for me when I started on this stamping adventure.

And the inside - just because it is a special occasion.

So I think I need to work on the lighting, but we'll get there eventually.  I am taking the card to work tomorrow, so I hope my friend is happy with it, otherwise I will need to make a friend called Therese to give it to!

Enjoy and I hope you visit again soon.

Jenny

  2. I am very impressed! The card is beautiful and so personal. In a world where everything is pre packaged and one fits all, this artform truly takes me back to the days when people took the time to think about the person they are giving the card to. Love your work!

Your work is gorgeous, Jen, and I'm so thrilled that you're enjoying your stamping and card-making, and sharing it with everyone on your blog - congratulations! And, of course, I'm excited that your first showcase piece is my card!!!!
